Currently, for samples where the detected values are equal to the Limit of Quantitation (LOQ), our reports indicate this as "
<LOQ
". We have reviewed this approach and decided to make a significant update for greater clarity and accuracy in our reporting.
Moving forward, only
values strictly less
than LOQ (not equal to LOQ) will appear as "<LOQ". In cases when values strictly equal LOQ, we will report the actual detected value that is equal to the LOQ.
Similarly, values equal to the Limit of Detection (LOD) currently report as "
ND
".
Values less than LOD
will continue to display "ND" on the report, but values equal to will report as "<LOQ" or the value if no LOQ value is present for that analyte.
We understand that this change may require some adjustments in your current workflow. Please feel free to reach out to support@confidentlims.com if you have any questions or need further clarification. If you would still like to report "<LOQ" or "ND" at equal values, please notify our team so that we can reconfigure your LIMS.
We now display the assay status color icon for all sample data tabs! This gives Labs the ability to quickly know the status of assay tab data at a glance.
You can enable/disable your assay statuses by visiting your Lab settings under the 'General' tab and choose from the Sample Status Options.
Also in today's release:
  • Updated API docs to include information on requirements for calculating mg/container for
    POST /v0/labs/order
  • Fixed a bug that was affecting saving some assays for Labs.
Hi there! We wanted to highlight a few improvements we put out recently:
For Labs
  • More Visibility into LIMS Data:
For our LIMS Labs, in the data tabs for each of your samples, you may see more instances where fields are highlighted. Specifically in the case of: changes to fields that are dependent on others via a formula, or data that has not yet been saved, including default values. Your formulas, calculations, and values themselves are unaffected by this change.

  • See your full Order IDs
: We increased the default size of the Order ID column in the Orders Table to avoid cutting off some of our longer IDs from view.
  • Fix to an Employee ID Settings bug
: Fixed a bug that was preventing Labs from making & saving edits to their Employee ID in Team Settings.
For The Client Portal

Improvements
  • Labs can now add test package changes to the sample logs when an order is edited.
  • API integrators now have the ability to set the published date and time for their lab data
We're delighted to introduce a new feature designed to streamline the process of attaching and submitting samples to METRC for labs. The feature removes the need for data verification prior to submission, thus decreasing the amount of clicks required when submitting results.
In your next order completion, you'll have the option to
Submit and Complete
without prior data verification. However, should you wish to preview and confirm the data before submission, you can do so by selecting
Verify and Complete
from the actions dropdown. It's important to note that even if you skip the verification step during submission, the
Weight on Hand
will still be included in the submission.
metrc_submission_actions
We have also introduced user-specific customization to enhance your experience. Once you select your preferred submission method from the actions dropdown during order completion, the system will remember your choice and make it your default setting at the user level. This personalized approach ensures that the workflow aligns with your specific needs.
Additionally, you can access these options from the
Sample and Order Actions
menus as well. Additionally, we've included a
Preview Submission to METRC
option in the samples action menu, which allows you to review the data set that will be submitted to METRC at any given time.

Please note that the
results won't get released
when the labs submit them without verifying them first. If your state requires the manual release of results in METRC, you will have to log into METRC and release the results after submitting them in Confident.
We trust that this feature will simplify your submission process and save precious time for all our lab customers! For more detailed instructions, please refer to our FAQ page.
